Before the Tavern
Spot Illustrations
Before the Tavern is a book of 100 character concepts for tabletop role-playing games published by Dover Publications. For this project I was asked to create two inch square spot illustrations to represent each back story for the character. There was a wide variety of prompts ranging from high fantasy, space, noir and more which was a unique drawing challenge. My overall goal was to create a cohesive collection of drawings while keeping them within their own individual themes using my unique illustration style.
